How to Submit Time in ctcLink

Before You Begin

  • You will need to know your ctcLink credentials and be able to log in to your ctcLink Account
  • If you are an Exempt employee, follow How to Submit Time in ctcLink (Exempt) 
  • We advise working with coworkers and supervisors for assistance with entering time in ctcLink

Steps

  1. Go to the ctcLink Login page and log in with your credentials.
  2. Select HCM Self Service 
  3. Select the Time tile. 
  4. Select the Enter Time tile. 
  5. The Enter Time page displays. Select “Period” on the “View By” drop-down menu located on the right side. This will allow you to enter your hours for the entire pay period. 
  6. Select a Time Reporting Code (TRC) from the drop-down on the left
  7. Enter the number of hours worked on the day selected. Partial hours must be represented in the decimal (E.g, eight and a half hours would equal 8.5). Once completed, select the Submit button.
  8. Success! Your time has been submitted for the pay period.
