FAQ - Equipment Checkout & Return

Requesting Equipment

What equipment is available to borrow?

We primarily lend Chromebooks because they are easy to use, do not require software installation, and will connect to all web-based services (including Canvas). This meets the needs of most students.

How do I request to borrow equipment?

Students who do not have a device can check out a Chromebook from START in Alderwood Hall, Room 103. Appointments are not necessary. Supplies are limited.

YOU MUST BE ENROLLED IN CLASSES TO CHECK OUT TECHNOLOGY - Enrollment will be verified.

What if I need to keep the equipment for another quarter?

At the end of each quarter, the Library will send an email to your preferred email address in ctcLink.

You may keep the device from quarter to quarter as long as you are registered for classes.
