Unable to Log in to Canvas and Triton Email

Before you Begin 

This tutorial will provide a quick overview of how to troubleshoot login issues in two of the most used accounts (Canvas and Triton Email)

Canvas

Possible Causes

  • You may be using the same password at another college
  • Your browser/device is caching information

Steps

  1. Review  How to Log in to Canvas 
  2. Sign out of all devices (Smartphones, tablets, web browsers, and Canvas app)
  3. Clear cache and cookies on your web browser
  4. Reset Your ctcLink Password

Triton Email Account

Possible Causes

  • Your password may have expired
  • You may be locked out of your account (If you have several failed login attempts)
  • You may have forgotten your password
  • First, review our article on How to Log in to Triton Email

Verify 

  1. You are going to the Google Mail (Gmail) login page
  2. You are using the correct Triton Email address; Format:YourTritonID @student.edmonds.edu
  3. Note: You cannot change your password via Google/Gmail

Steps

  1. Review article:  How to Log In to Triton Email 
  2. Go to Triton Access and select Forgot your password? Or **Locked out of your account? **And follow the prompts to recover your account (Available options are based on the information you provided when you first set up your Triton ID.

Old EdMail

EdMail (@edmail.edcc.edu) accounts have been retired on **August 31, 2021. **All new and returning students registered for courses starting the Spring 2021 quarter moving forward will be issued a new Triton Email account (@student.edmonds.edu) via Triton Access. Submit an IT ticket if you have any questions.
