Unable to Log in to Student Accounts (Canvas and Triton Email)

First, review our article on How to Log in to Canvas.

When you cannot access the Edmonds College (EC) Canvas site at edcc.instructure.com, it may be that your password is expired, you are using the same password at another college, or your browser/device is caching information. Follow these steps:

1. Log out of ALL devices: cell phone & apps, home & work computer, and other mobile devices.
2. Clear your cache & cookies, and remove saved Canvas passwords.
3. Reset your password (Select Forgot your password?) Passwords for Canvas expire every 120 days. Do NOT use the same password as another college.

NEW Triton Email Account

First, review our article on How to Log in to Student Email.

Forgot your password? Account locked? Proceed to the Triton Access page, and select 'Need help signing in?'
You will be provided various account recovery options based on the information you provided when you first set up your Triton ID.

OLD EdMail

UPDATE (April 12, 2021): EdMail (@edmail.edcc.edu) accounts will be discontinued on August 31, 2021. All new and returning students registered for courses starting Spring 2021 quarter moving forward will be issued a new Student email account (@student.edmonds.edu) via Triton ID. Visit the EdMail FAQ for more information regarding the decommissioning of these accounts.

Note: If you need to manage your old EdMail account to back up your files, you must use the EdMail Account Management Tool. You cannot change your password via Google/Gmail.
