Steps
- First, make sure your Triton ID account is active by signing into Triton Access.
- If you were prompted to update your password or created a new password from a password reset, sign out of your Microsoft account and sign back in with your new password. This may fix invalid credential issues for Microsoft applications. Here is an example for Microsoft’s Excel application:
- Click “Sign in”, then type your full Triton ID email (for students:username@student.edmonds.edu, for staff and faculty:username@edmonds.edu). A new pop-up should appear for Edmonds College login. Type in the same password that worked on Triton Access:
- Once you’re fully signed into the Microsoft application, test if the issue persists. If this doesn’t fix the issue, please visit Microsoft’s support page and describe your issue in the text box and click the blue arrow: Microsoft Support
- A list of troubleshooting guides will appear. Click on the guide that best describes your problem.
- If troubleshooting guides don’t resolve your issue, please visit the IT Service Desk for further support.
