Steps

Method One: Press Shift -Command-Q on the keyboard to activate the log off dialog. Select Log out to close all of your open programs and log out. You can check or uncheck the box to reopen windows when you log back in, depending on your preference.
Method Two: Select the Apple icon located in the upper-left corner of the screen and select “Logout.”
